Scripture Challenge with Patter Cross - #7 - Perfect

For this fortnight's challenge I found this verse in Hebrews 12:2 which I felt would be a good one to have on display in my home for the different friends and family who will be visiting us over this coming weekend.

I have placed the heart within the crown of thorns because of the love Jesus displayed as he suffered for my and your sins.

This little digital page was put together using a kit called "Coffee Time" by Digi Illusions.
The crown of thorns is a brush I found free on the web somewhere (I do not have the name of the designer)

Scripture Challenge with Patter Cross - #6 - Neighbour

Yesterday morning I was outside talking to my neighbour who mostly keeps to herself. She is a single mother with two young boys and yesterday's conversation was the longest one I have ever had with her in the year they have lived there. When I came inside I checked my emails only to discover Patter's Scripture Challenge for this fortnight --- WOW - what is the Lord trying to tell me. I think I better become a better neighbour as the word for this fornight is "Neighbour".

The last two Sundays my husband and I have been attending talks by John MacKay of Creation Research and the first Sunday I learnt how the different races came about which may help you see the reason I chose to do my page as I have.
Acts 17:26 says "And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed and the bounds of their habitation."

My digital page was put together using the following items: Alpha and brushed border by Durin Eberhart; Green paper by Brandy Murry; Brown Paper by Paula Wright; Frame by Amanda McGee; Pearl Heart and Bracket by Amanda Sok; Fancy brad by Kerry Veale.
The photograph was found on the web somewhere.

Scripture Challenge with Patter Cross - #5 - FOLLOW

For this fortnight Patter has given us the word "Follow" for our challenge.
Once I read the word and Patter's devotional thoughts an old hymn with the Chorus that I have shared on my art came into my mind. I am not a musical person but do love to sing and the words from the hymns and scripture songs are good to have in our minds to remind us of Bible truths.

My Bible verse choice is because my Ken is about to retire ( 4 weeks to go ) and I will follow in July so we can use our newly purchased caravan to go out and become "Fishers of Men" - by travelling for pleasure and being a witness where we are and also travelling to help in outback Churches or Missions.

I have added a blended photo our granddaughter, Imogen when she was littler, reaching up for her Poppa's hand as it makes me think of how we need to reach out and hold onto Jesus to follow His leading.

The digital kit I used is called "Beach Bungalow" by Deanna Patterson.
